Description: Mound Farm is a glacial feature raised above the surrounding floodplain and farming area. It is covered by a stand of about 1,000 mature trees, including Douglas-firs, Western redcedars and bigleaf maples. The large concentration of trees of this age and size is unique and rare in the area. There are two wood-frame houses on the site, one in the Colonial Revival style and the other a vernacular dwelling. See Mound Farm - George Snow House and Bion Smith House to learn more.
