Description: One of the earliest Surrey houses, c. 1875, a rare example of a two-storey "I-House", its basic style derived from pioneer cabin with more elaborate detailing. Features full width front porch with hipped roof, symmetrical facade, spindled porch balusters, decorative brackets on front porch columns, and gabled extension added on rear. The Boothroyds were the second family to settle in Surrey Centre and George Boothroyd was on the early municipal Council.
