Emergency Service Dispatchers' and

9-1-1 Awareness Week (April 13-19, 2025)

This week marks Emergency Service Dispatchers & 911 Awareness Week, and National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week across North America.  It is an opportunity to thank all our communication staff for the critical role they play in sending help to the citizens of our communities.

Dispatchers are the true first responders, the calming voice on the other end of the phone and the lifeline for people in distress.

Thank you to our dispatch service team for your continued service to the City and our client jurisdictions.
