The City plans to make road improvements along 140 Street from 88 Avenue to 92 Avenue.

The City plans to make improvements to 140 Street from 88 Avenue to 92 Avenue to improve traffic flow, increase road safety and prepare for future growth.
Project timing
We anticipate construction to begin in October 2024 and be completed late 2025.
Key improvements
- repaving and widening the road from two to four travel lanes to reduce congestion
- upgrading traffic signals at 88 and 92 Ave and installing a new traffic signal at 90 Avenue to improve road safety and access
- adding a multi-use path on the east side of 140 Street and a sidewalk on the west side to make it safer to cycle and walk
The project will also include upgrading the storm sewer system between King Creek and 90 Avenue.
