Arts and Culture Advisory Committee
This Committee will provide advice to Council regarding public art, visual and performing arts, community arts, special events, heritage, and cultural activities in Surrey; and to enhance Surrey's profile, community identity, and civic pride to achieve the benefits of being a vibrant and creative cultural community.

This committee reviews and advises on the strategic plans for Surrey’s arts and cultural initiatives, including public art, music, and community arts programs. It helps guide the development and implementation of policies like the Public Art Master Plan and supports partnerships with both public and private organizations.
The committee also provides recommendations on Surrey’s public art collection, evaluates proposed donations and loans, and identifies strategies to increase public engagement with the city's arts and cultural services. Members include council representatives, local volunteers, and an Indigenous representative, all working to foster a vibrant cultural scene in Surrey.
