Description: Built in 1883 in the style common to schools of that era with hipped roof and windows with plain casings and horn details on bottom of upper sashes. Closed as a school in 1920, due to leaking roof and unsanitary condition of outhouses, and replaced by Elgin School in 1921. Original western door has been closed over, with larger windows and gabled dormers added.
