Description: Eastern cottage style built in 1920. A centred chamfered gable portico frames the front of the south-facing house, with triangular knee brackets, symmetrical facade and simple brick chimney at west gable end. George Rankin was a pioneer farmer in West Panorama Ridge who owned the property from 1918 to 1953, and after whom Rankin Road (148 Street) was named.
