School Park Cleanups
Your students can help care for Surrey's parks this school year!
Our School Park Cleanup program (previously Lend a Hand) is a simple way for your K-7 class to make a difference and build a greener, healthier, and safer community. Commit to regularly cleaning up your local park(s) and we will provide:
- instructional video
- clean up equipment (litter pickers, bags and a scale)
- classroom tracking poster
- data log sheet
- activity resources
At the end of the school year, participating classes will be entered for a pizza party giveaway (valued at $150) or $25 gift card to the Outdoor Learning Store!

2024-2025 school year
Spring intake of classes for School Park Cleanups will be dependent on the amount of equipment left. Please email partnersinparks@surrey.ca to inquire about availability.
