School Park Cleanups
Your students can help care for Surrey's parks this school year!
Our School Park Cleanup program (previously Lend a Hand) is a simple way for your K-7 class to make a difference and build a greener, healthier, and safer community. Commit to regularly cleaning up your local park(s) and we will provide:
- instructional video
- clean up equipment (litter pickers, bags and a scale)
- classroom tracking poster
- data log sheet
- activity resources
At the end of the school year, participating classes will be entered for a chance to win prizes!
2023-2024 school year
A big thank you to all of this year's participating classes. Together you spent over 1800 volunteer hours cleaning our parks and collected over 325 kg of waste!
