Sounds of Summer

Sounds of Summer runs annually in July and August. With diverse genres from jazz and R&B to classic rock, enjoy this free live concert series at some of Surrey's most beautiful parks and outdoor spaces.

Park Play 

Enjoy self-directed and staff-led park activities each July and August! Park Play has provided free activities to children and youth in Surrey’s parks since 2006.

Releaf (natural areas)

Want to drop by to clean up a park or plant a tree? Would you rather be a formal, registered volunteer? No problem! We offer both public, drop-in volunteer events as well as registered volunteer activities.

  • Work Party at Darts Hill Garden Park

    Garden Work Parties

    Support with the maintenance of Surrey's feature and display gardens. Learn directly from head gardeners and assist with light to moderate horticultural work. No experience needed. Tools and training are provided.

  • Learn about the Skelkelosen pollinator seed blend that we created with the Coast Salish Plant Nursery.
  • Read stories about stewardship from other local schools and see how to get involved.
