Parking options
The City of Surrey manages parking to balance the needs of residents, motorists and visitors. Parking options include on-street parking and off-street parking (with or without pay station meters). The Highway and Traffic Bylaw No. 13007 outlines parking rules and regulations in the City of Surrey.
Street parking
- Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
- The street is open to the public and anybody may legally park on a residential street unless posted otherwise.
- No vehicle may remain parked in the same location on a public street for more than 72 hours.
If there is a car that has been parked in front of your house for more than 72 hours, contact City of Surrey Bylaw Enforcement Parking Services at 604-591-4352.
Parking near driveways
In Surrey, vehicles must not park within 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) of a driveway.
- If a vehicle is parked too close to your driveway, call 604-591-4352.
