Description: Built in 1941, the Nikaniuk House is valued for its vernacular farmhouse architecture, notably its side-gabled jerkinhead roof, original wooden sash and frame windows with leaded glass. The house was built by Steve and Barbara Nikaniuk, who constructed the farmhouse and adjacent farm to raise and support their family of seven.
