Learn about Surrey's community garden program, gardens in your neighborhood, and how to become a garden member.

Surrey is home to nine community gardens located in neighbourhood parks. The City of Surrey supports gardening as a valuable recreation activity that provides opportunity for food production; contributes to overall health and well-being; and builds connection to nature and neighbourhoods.

New Community Gardens

The City supports adding new community gardens in neighborhood parks. The construction of a community garden is considered after an expression of community interest, community consultation, and a thorough evaluation of the site is done.
