Surrey, B.C. – Surrey Canada Day, presented by Prospera Credit Union, will return to Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre on Monday, July 1 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The event will be headlined by Canadian rock and revival band The Sheepdogs, alongside celebrated Juno Award Winner Sass Jordan and respected Indigenous singer-songwriter Don Amero. Additional features of the event include Indigenous cultural presentations on the Siam Stage, family-oriented entertainment on the Kid’s Stage, and an array of local performers, dance battles, and DJ sets on the Community Stage.

The Sheepdogs, originating from Saskatoon, are a renowned Canadian rock band known for their energetic performances and a sound that revives classic rock for contemporary audiences, earning them multiple JUNO awards. Sass Jordan, from Montreal, Quebec, brings a distinctive blend of rock and blues to the stage, with her powerful voice and dynamic presence captivating audiences nationwide. Don Amero, a versatile singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, blends folk and country melodies with heartfelt lyrics, recognized for his contributions to Canadian music with several nominations and awards.

Surrey Canada Day 2024 will feature educational activities and cultural sharing within the Indigenous Village, food trucks, amusement rides, a Kid’s Zone, live music, dance performances, exhibitors, giveaways, and a fireworks finale.

The City of Surrey is honoured to hold this event on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Salish Peoples, including the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and sǝmyámǝ (Semiahmoo) land-based Nations.
