Sixth annual stɑlə̓w̓ Christmas Craft Market returns to the Museum of Surrey, in partnership with the stɑlə̓w̓ Arts & Cultural Society
Returning to the Museum of Surrey on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this festive craft sale celebrates Indigenous artisans and artists.
Surrey, BC – Returning to the Museum of Surrey on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this festive craft sale celebrates Indigenous artisans and artist.
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy free live entertainment and visit the market offering a wide array of handcrafted goods, including jewelry, natural soaps and lotions, art, gourmet treats, and more.
“Every year the Indigenous artisans that come to the museum provide an amazing array of creations. They bring warmth and cheer to the Museum”, says Lynn Saffery, Museum Manager.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Karen Gabriel, a Kwantlen elder renowned for her “World Famous Bannock” and hamburger soap, Indigenous programming, and much more.
The Museum of Surrey invites residents and visitors to experience this free event, and support local businesses.
