Surrey, BC – City of Surrey is excited to host Play On! Cloverdale, Canada’s largest street hockey festival, August 17–18 in historic downtown Cloverdale.

“Surrey is proud to support and welcome back this inclusive street hockey event,” said Mayor Brenda Locke. “Events like these showcase our welcoming and vibrant communities and their positive impact. This milestone 20th anniversary event promises to be the best yet.”

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, everyone is invited to join this action-packed weekend of street hockey. The festival will bring together 200 teams, 4,000 players, and up to 10,000 spectators, and will feature 19 rinks on closed streets. Spectators can enjoy thrilling games, a variety of vendors, music, interactive activities, and sponsor activations—all for free. For details, visit the event page.

Over the past two decades, Play On! Canada has hosted 179 events in 41 communities nationwide and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest street hockey tournament.
