City Hall operating hours are weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm. For after-hour media requests, email media.requests@surrey.ca. Media requests of an urgent and operational nature will be responded to after hours. All other requests will be actioned the next business day.

Beginning in September 2023 and ending in June 2024, the year-long, play-based curriculum provides parents with an affordable opportunity to support their child’s healthy growth and development during their early years.

The City of Surrey is excited to announce the opening of the Healthy Living Complex of Care, a new temporary modular facility offering safe and dignified access to washroom, shower, laundry and respite services at the Cove Shelter site at 10607 King George Boulevard.

The City of Surrey is inspiring residents to give back this season. Three trees have been decorated with donation boxes in the City Hall atrium to highlight three local charities: Surrey Christmas Bureau, Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society, and Surrey Food Bank. 

Housing and essential infrastructure are top issues for Mayor Brenda Locke and the Big City Mayors’ Caucus who are meeting in Ottawa.

Once complete, the six-storey apartment building will offer 91 new affordable units of below-market rental housing, including supportive units for persons with disabilities.
