About the artist
Based in the Metro-Vancouver area, Alex Flock is an award winning guitarist (Canadian winner of the Larrivee Guitar contest, 3rd place Canadian Fingerstyle Competition) and genre-bending composer. With influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Pat Martino, he has cultivated a voice on the instrument that is uniquely his own. Alex regularly performs as a solo guitarist, as well as with his group the “Funk Brigade”, Best Night Ever (Roxy Launch Party Winner, Hard Rock Casino “Rock the Mic Winners”) and Deep Cutzzz. As a sideman he performs with Susana Williams, Krystle Dos Santos, Kandy Roar and even S-Bahn; an Oktoberfest party band, to name a few.
