About Syd Bosel
Syd Bosel is originally from Vancouver, but recently moved to Comox, on Vancouver Island to feel young again. She is a regular headliner and touring comic with “Jokers Canada”, and she can be heard on CBC’s Just for Laughs and Laugh Out Loud. She has opened for Maria Bamford, Debra DiGiovanni, Simon King, and Julie Kim. Syd placed first and was voted fan favourite, in the 2018 “BC’s Funniest New Female Comic”, was a finalist in the 2019 “Great Canadian Yuk Off” and second (out of 65 comics) in the “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Competitions. In 2023, she received four ‘Yeses’ in Canada’s Got Talent.
