About Clayton Dog Off-Leash Park

Clayton Dog Off-Leash Park was the first dog park in Surrey to be fully fenced with separate large and small dog areas. The park features a total enclosed area of 1.25 hectares (3 acres), making it one of the largest off-leash areas in the City. The enclosed areas feature grass fields, forest and bushes, as well as paved perimeter paths. The park is very popular with dog owners in the Clayton and Cloverdale neighbourhoods.

You'll find parking available from 188th Street, benches and a water fountain for dogs.

About Clayton Community Garden

At the east side of the park, just outside the fenced dog park, will be the new Clayton Community Garden, which was put forward by local residents from the Clayton and Provinceton areas of Cloverdale. These two areas are connected by Clayton Park and the Clayton Dog Off-Leash Park.

The goal of the Clayton Garden Group is to connect the community through gardening; growing fresh healthy fruits and vegetables for members, as well as those less fortunate; and utilizing park space to educate people about gardening. Following community consultation, the garden is now in the final phases with site preparation taking place in early spring.
