Park information
Forsyth Park is a 3.03 hectare (7.5 acres) community park located between 139 and 140 Street, south of Forsyth Road Elementary School. It features a dog off-leash area, a destination nature playground, and supporting picnic areas and pathways.
Park Design
The park was designed through a community consultation process that included an open house and surveys.

Forsyth park offers a fully fenced in dog off-leash area of approximately 0.6 hectares (1.42 acres). The off-leash area includes open space, log play elements, a small natural forest area and separated areas for large dogs and small dogs.
Street parking is available on 139 and 140 Street.
Award-Winning Features
On May 2, 2019, Forsyth Park was awarded the Parks Excellence Award by the BC Recreation and Parks Association. It was recognized as transforming unused parkland into a social destination for the whole community.
