REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK
The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, Overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of construction and renovation of Supply and Installation, Upgrade and Expand EV Charging Stations, located at 13450 104th Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

Services to be performed by the Contractor should include but are not limited to the following:
a) Supply of 26 Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging stations, in the following configuration(s):

i. 12 single-port stations, wall-mount configuration

ii. 7 dual-port stations, pedestal-mount configuration

b) Access (once commissioned) to a web-based charging network, capable of real-time monitoring and reporting as well as end user-based session management features.
c) Delivery of supplied Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging stations to Surrey City Hall, located at 13450 -104th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V3T 1V8.

INFORMATION MEETING
An information meeting will be hosted by the City Representative to discuss the City’s requirements under this RFQ (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Contractors, Contractors who do not attend will be deemed to have attended Meeting.

At the time of issuance of this RFQ a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

It is possible that some questions raised, and information provided during the Information Meeting may be the only source of critical information essential to prepare and submit a successful Quotation. Contractors are responsible to ensure they are fully informed and have a clear understanding of the requirements.

Note: No minutes of the Information Meeting will be provided.

The Contractor is responsible for any fees incurred as a result of the Information Meeting.

ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
