Alex Masse, AKA Fairything, is a writer/musician in what is colonially known as Surrey, BC. Alex began their solo career in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic--since then, they've released 2 EPs, performed at Vancouver Pride, and featured on tracks with other musicians, including Penelope Scott. They were also a 2021 member of the Vancouver International Film Festival's Talent Accelerator Program. Though new to the scene, they already have a colourful and varied discography of work for theatre, short films, and video games. As a solo performer, though, they self-accompany on their vintage Suzuki QChord and offer dreamy, indie synth tunes about their lived experiences as a neurodivergent and nonbinary individual.
