Traffic Obstruction Permit Online Application

You must obtain a Traffic Obstruction Permit before you obstruct or temporarily close any road, cycling, or pedestrian facility for any reason.

Uploading files to your application

For some applications you may be required to upload additional information as an image or PDF file. Each file needs to be under 1 MB or they will not upload and this could block the submission of your application.

How to reduce file size

Use Adobe Acrobat or another PDF tool to compress your files. Learn more about reducing PDF size. You can also find online tools to compress PDFs or or check your own document scanning software tools to see if they have a compression feature.
