Apply for a grant to help support your next sporting event or program in Surrey

Grants

Through Sport Surrey, the City of Surrey offers residents, community groups, and sporting organizations grants to assist with their sporting events, programs and initiatives. 

The Sport Surrey Grant provides financial support to sporting events that have the potential to bring direct or indirect economic and community benefits to the City of Surrey. Use your Sport Surrey Grant for to offset facility rental costs and enhance your event!

A total of $50,000 is available throughout the year. Grant applications are accepted and reviewed on a ongoing basis throughout the calendar year.

Events must be taking place in Surrey.

Final report

After the completion of your event, organizers must compile a final report detailing specific event aspects such as the budget breakdown, attendee statistics, and an overall experience. This report serves as a crucial document encapsulating the event's entirety and outcomes.
