Registration tips

Secure your child's spot in day camps by following our registration tips including how-to videos, a step-by-step guide and answers to frequently asked questions.

Medical Information Forms

We encourage parents to securely store important health and contact information online in your recreation account for each child registered. Doing this once saves time and effort for parents, particularly if registered in multiple camps. Log in using your MySurrey account email and password.

Need help? Check out the Your Recreation Account Features step by step guide.

If you prefer, you can still fill in a paper Medical Disclosure and Consent form. Pick up a paper form ahead of time at any camp location and bring the completed form with you to the first day of camp.

If your child requires medication including an inhaler or EpiPen, either complete and print out the Prescribed and Non Prescribed Medication form and bring it with you the first day of camp, or pick up a paper form ahead of time at any camp location. A doctor’s note is required for all non-prescribed medicine.

If you forget your forms on the first day of camp, blank forms are available onsite.

My child has completed kindergarten but is not six yet. Can I still register them in a camp for ages 6 and older?

Yes. New this year, Fun Zone, our popular general day camp, has a separate 6 year old course ID.

For all other camps that include 6 year olds, a manual age override must be done by a supervisor at a facility. You can email or call them directly.

Please note the following:

The 6 year old separate ID is for registration management and does not mean it will be a separate camp, and may be combined with other age groups.

Manual age overrides may take 1 to 3 business days to process and a spot is not guaranteed to be available after registration opens and you may be put on the waitlist.

My child has a disability. Will 1 to 1 support be available?

If your child has a disability and requires 1:1 support to be safe and successful in camp, please register in our “One to One support for camps – children". Register in the week(s) you are looking for and our team will reach out to confirm your location preferences. Preferences are not guaranteed but will be accommodated as much as possible.

The course ID numbers can be found on page 3 of the Summer Day Camp guide. Support spots are available the week of July 10 through the week of August 21. Choose up to two weeks of support. Support is not guaranteed and is on a first come first serve basis.
