Winter Crescent Park

Winter Crescent Park opened in 2011 at the western landing point of the Pioneer Overpass – a part of Surrey’s Greenway Network connecting the City through multi-use pathways. In the park you'll find a small playground with adjacent greenspace and seating areas. The Pioneer Overpass connects east to the Rosemary Heights neighbourhood, over Highway 99.

At night the overpass is illuminated with a splash of colour changing LED, thanks to a public art installation called Connections. This light-based artwork illuminates the connection between two Surrey neighbourhoods once divided by Highway 99. As the elegant span of the overpass floats over the highway, it also creates a metaphoric “connection” between earth and sky.
