About T.E. Scott

T.E. Scott Park is named in honor of Thomas Ernest Scott, a dedicated community leader and long-serving Surrey School Board trustee known for his active involvement in community initiatives like the Hall’s Prairie Farmers’ Institute and his role as chairman of the Surrey School Board. In recognition of his contributions, the Surrey School Board named a school after him in 1957. T.E. Scott Park and playground, officially opened in 2013, celebrates his legacy and commitment to Surrey’s community.
