Park information
Poplar Park is situated at the top of a natural ridge. The uphill portion of the park is naturally flat, and offers lots of open green space perfect for a picnic or a game of soccer. You'll also find a playground here.
The open space is framed by a forest of massive poplar, cottonwood, alder and fir trees. You'll find a nice natural area trail that loops through the forest for about 300 metres. Be on the lookout for views of the Fraser River and north shore mountains. Be careful—it can get quite steep once you descend the ridge into the forest.
