Park information
Cougar Creek Park takes its name after Cougar Creek, a salmon stream that flows through West Newton and North Delta, emptying into the Fraser River. Within the park you'll find a number of pathways that offer excellent views of the creek and its various ponds. You'll find lots of ducks swimming in the ponds, fish in the creeks and beavers making dams, all surrounded by paths and bridges.
At the northeast area of the park, adjacent to Cougar Creek Elementary School, you'll find a baseball diamond and soccer field. If you would like to use the fields for a sporting team or event, please review our field bookings process.
