Born and raised in Surrey, two-time JUNO Award-nominated country star Tyler Joe Miller is set to ‘go home’ and perform for his hometown fans. Miller’s acclaimed album Going Home has been nominated for Country Album of the Year at the 2025 JUNO Awards, marking his second consecutive nomination after first being recognized in 2024. Since bursting onto the Canadian country music scene with his Gold-certified debut single, “Pillow Talkin’,” in late 2019, Miller has continued to dominate the airwaves. The breakout hit earned him the title of iHeartRadio Future Star and became his first #1 at Canadian country radio. To date, he has achieved nine consecutive Top 10 singles, solidifying his status as one of the genre’s most consistent hitmakers. Now, Miller is bringing his chart-topping hits back to where it all began, delivering an unforgettable show for his hometown crowd.
Chani Nattan and Inderpal Moga have made history with their JUNO Award nomination for “COOLIN” in collaboration with Jazzy B, in the new South Asian Music Recording of the Year category. Their nomination highlights their influence and the increasing representation of South Asian artists on local and national levels. Their performance at the Let’s Hear it BC JUNOS Plaza Party will be a pivotal moment and celebration for Surrey’s thriving South Asian community.
