Enjoy free outdoor concerts across Surrey this summer
The City of Surrey is excited to announce the launch of Sounds of Summer, a series of free outdoor concerts taking place across Surrey every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm throughout July and August.
Because of weather, the August 21 Sounds of Summer concert at Unwin Park is cancelled.
Join us for a free outdoor concert next week on August 28 at Bear Creek Park.
Surrey, B.C. – The City of Surrey is excited to announce the launch of Sounds of Summer, a series of free outdoor concerts taking place across Surrey every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm throughout July and August.
Music lovers are invited enjoy performances on the following dates and locations:
- The Free Label at Clayton Community Centre on July 3
- Leo D.E Johson at Glades Woodland Garden on July 10
- Music City Showcase at Surrey Civic Plaza on July 17
- Ben Dunnill at Francis Park on July 24
- Hayley Wallis at Museum of Surrey on July 31
- Get Back Unplugged at Darts Hill Garden Park on August 7
- Bad Mny at Surrey Civic Plaza on August 14
- Mikey Jose at Unwin Park on August 21
- Francis Baptiste at Bear Creek Park on August 28
Concert goers are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for seating during the performances. Artists will perform outdoors on a stage with sound equipment. No tickets or pre-registration required.
Sounds of Summer is one of the many programs, activities and events offered by the City of Surrey to encourage residents and visitors to connect with the outdoors and celebrate music, fostering an engaged and healthy community.
