The Surrey Kids Conference returns this year with the theme "Playful Futures: a Child's Right to Play". There will be various workshops for kids ages 6 to 12 to enjoy. Play is a fundamental right for all children. Each workshop will give participants the opportunity to have fun, make friends and explore their potential!

Express yourself with Art! Explore a variety of art activities with the Community Arts Team.
Cupcake Decorating with Mann & Co Bakeshop
Join us for an interactive and fun-filled workshop where children will learn how to decorate 1 cupcake while exploring their creativity! Participants will get hands-on experience decorating a cupcake and learn the joy of creating something with their own hands!
Learn to Code with Dot and Dash Robot - Surrey Libraries
Join Surrey Libraries to learn about coding by having fun with our Dot and Dash Robots. Each participant will have hands on experience working with the robots as the work through challenges.
Move and Groove Mashup - City of Surrey
Move and Groove Mashup is an action-packed workshop where kids dive into the world of dance with a fun, energetic combo! In this exciting session, participants will learn a vibrant fusion routine that blends upbeat dance styles and rhythms. The instructor will guide participants though the steps, helping them master the combo while encouraging creativity and self expression.
Plant Builders with the Youth Events Squad
Growing Green futures is a hands on workshop designed for kids to explore the wonderful world of plants. In this fun and interactive workshop these young green thumbs will learn about how nature contributes to a healthy environment and. Participants will get to get their hands dirty by personalizing their own planter pot, while inspiring the next generation to build greener, brighter futures!
Come Try Ringette!
This interactive workshop introduces kids to the fun and fast paced sport of ringette! With dynamic demos and hands on activities, participants will learn about teamwork, healthy lifestyles and what makes ringette so special!
Soaring Science - City of Surrey
In Soaring Science, children will engage in hands on activities that demonstrate the forces of play in the world of aviation! Participants will learn how gravity, lift, thrust and drag work together to make things soar! Prepare to launch into the world of flight with us!
Vibe and Thrive: Hip Hop Dance Workshop
Get ready to move you body and learn some basic Hip Hop dance steps with our Surrey dance instructor, Vik! Focus will be on key grooves and Hip Hop combos!
