Spring Fest

An outdoor day of fun!

Ring in much awaited spring! After months of rain and grey skies, explore this vibrant event suitable for the whole family. Take in live music presented by FUSIONpresents, watch multicultural dance performances and hear some storytelling. Shop the vendor market, chat with The Re-enactors and snack on goodies from Kona Ice and MJ's Caribbean Cuisine.

Farmhouse tours, crafts and refreshments will be available all day as well.

Featuring Natache Gabriel

Meet Kwantlen Artist Natache in Totest Aleng where she is partnering with Surrey Parks. They will highlight a collaborative project developed to identify Surreys Indigenous plants.

• FUSIONpresents will provide 90 minutes of FUSIONpresents Live Music Jam at Spring Fest! Sami Ghawi is a dynamic musician, event producer and community leader known for bringing people together through the power of music. As the founder of FUSIONpresents, Sami has spent over 20 years championing local artists and creating spaces for live music to thrive across Surrey and the BC lower mainland. Whether curating concerts, hosting jams, or collaborating with cultural organizations, Sami’s passion lies in building musical communities that are inclusive, vibrant and full of heart.

• Amelia Douglas Institute. As the The centre of Métis culture and language in BC, they are dedicated to honouring and sharing the richness of Métis culture and Michif languages.

• Creative Diversity Friends Club is a family run nonprofit in North Surrey.  They have created a neuro-inclusive and 2SLGBTQ+ friendly space for diverse creative souls of all ages to find connection and joy through creative arts. 

• Mobile Library is a small library on wheels with over 1,000 items to borrow. 

• READ Surrey White Rock is a non-profit organization that raises awareness of literacy issues and helps people increase their literacy skills.
