Sport Tourism Grant

Any event held within Surrey stands a chance to win up to $5000 through our Sport Tourism Grant Program. This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden associated with facility rentals by offering funds to event organizers. These funds are versatile and can be utilized for any facility within Surrey, irrespective of whether it's managed by the city or not.

Recreation facilities & sport fields

With first-class facilities, experienced volunteers, and a welcoming and open community, the City of Surrey has all the requirements to make your sporting experience a memorable one. We offer several recreation opportunities, including gymnasiums, fitness classes, weight rooms, indoor pools, arenas and meeting space rentals.

Surrey continues to invest in state-of-the-art recreational facilities to support tournament hosting for our communities. In fall 2019, we opened the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex, and in early 2021, we opened the Clayton Community Centre. Coming soon is also the new Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex.
