The Official Community Plan (OCP) is a comprehensive, overarching document that directs growth, development and environmental, social and economic objectives over a 30 year period. Surrey’s OCP is aligned with Metro Vancouver’s Regional Growth Strategy as well as the goals of the City’s Sustainability Charter, and therefore provides a fully integrated vision and policy direction for Surrey residents, businesses and visitors.

On October 20, 2014, Surrey City Council adopted the City's Official Community Plan. View the OCP on the Surrey OCP page.

The previous Official Community Plan was in effect from October 8, 1996 to October 20, 2014.
