REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The City of Surrey (the “City”) is seeking Quotations from professional maintenance firms to provide a firm fixed price for roadside mowing of various City sites. The Contractor shall abide by the true intent of the Scope of Services (i.e., not take advantage of any unintentional error or omission). The Contractor shall include all planning, administration, experienced and qualified labour, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, and management necessary to assure that all services comply with the contract, the City’s schedules and instructions, and all applicable laws and regulations. The Contractor shall meet all of the standards of performance identified in the Agreement. The Contractor shall perform all related support functions such as supply, subcontracting, quality control, financial oversight, and maintenance of complete records and files.

The Contractor shall perform complete cutting maintenance as generally described in Schedule A for the three (3) mowing areas listed in Schedule “A-1”. In general, the mowing areas are separated into three geographic zones North, Central and South Surrey. The 2025 mowing areas are included in Schedule “A-1”. The Services are to be performed for the City’s Engineering Department – Operations Division.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
