Addendum

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The purpose of this request for proposals (“RFP”) is to select a service provider (or service providers) to perform the services (“Services”) described in Schedule A.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
The development and career planning for exempt management roles are conducted for approximately 35 to 40 candidates (internal and external) per year.

The Consultant will provide services as follows:

• Work with the City’s Human Resources (HR) Department to identify the nature and requirements for each specific job requiring the psychometric assessments.
• Administer access to online tools and monitor progress of completeness of the Assessments.
• Develop content, design documentation, exercises, scenarios for observing stated competencies for selection and development purposes.
• Facilitate group activities to evaluate the required competencies for selection purposes if required.
• Observe and provide expert inputs into the readiness of the candidates to assume positions.
• Assist HR representative and be available as needed with administering and coordinating all appointments for assessments, responding to questions from HR, candidates, and Managers regarding assessment outcomes, contract administration, service provisions and other items where required.
• Provide the City with written detailed and comprehensive psychometric assessments report for every candidate assessed summarizing assessment findings and recommending “readiness” level of candidates to assume leadership roles for a specific job.
• Discuss and provide counselling and feedback as soon as reports are available through in-person feedback and debrief meetings.
• Provide technical support in interpreting the report and assessment where required.
• Provide the City with expert opinion on the findings of the questionnaire/tests in the context of staff development, career and succession planning.

ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFP. It is the responsibility of Proponents to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFP may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFP or may be relied upon by any Proponent. By delivery of a Proposal the Proponent is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFP, including any and all addenda.
