INVITATION TO INTERESTED PROPONENTS

The purpose of this request for proposals (“RFP”) is to invite your company/organization (“Proponent”) to provide the City of Surrey (“City”) a proposal (“Proposal”) for the provision of Group Benefits Insurance and Administrative Services (the “Services”) to be used by the City as further described in the City’s RFP document.


Participation Requirement

In consideration of the City issuing an RFP to the Proponent and the City disclosing confidential information to the Proponent related to and/or for purposes of the competitive solicitation, the Proponent is required to complete the City’s Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement [Attachment 1]. As part of the Attachment 1, the Proponent must qualify as a life or health insurance company licensed to do business in Canada and is a member of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA).

This Attachment 1 must be executed by a signatory with the authority to bind each member of the Proponent’s team, and for clarity such signatory may be different than the Proponent representative(s). In returning an executed Attachment 1, the Proponent agrees to the instruction provided in the City’s Privacy Protection Schedule [Attachment 2].

RFP Documents

The RFP documents will be provided to those who have submitted the executed Attachment 1 and met the stated qualifier on or before March 22, 2024, the anticipated release of date of the RFP documents is March 25, 2024.
