REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS FOR STANDING OFFER AGREEMENT

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES
The City is seeking to contract with one or more Applicant(s) (the “Contractor”) specializing in facility emergency restoration services for assets owned by the City of Surrey. Emergency restoration services would be on an “as and when required” and “on demand” basis. The City will be looking to the Applicant to provide cost effective and reliable emergency restoration services when required (24/7/365).

The Services include without limitation the supply and delivery of material, the provision of skilled labour, equipment, tools, management, materials, parts and supplies (including shop supplies) to perform the Services and other requirements of this RFA-SOA in the City.

The City is to provide full details of the scope of Services to the Applicant as required for projects on an “as and when required” basis.

The City has multiple civic facilities including but not limited to:
• Indoor arenas, community centres, park facilities, a museum, heritage buildings, an arts centre, and fine arts & museum collections;
• Eighteen (18) fire halls;
• Five (5) community police stations;
• Parks Division and Engineering Operations Division works yards, pump stations and tide gate dams;
• Library buildings (including a large book collection); and,
• City Hall, leased & owned buildings, furnishings, and computers and other equipment.

ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFA-SOA, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFA-SOA. It is the responsibility of Applicants to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFA-SOA may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFA-SOA or may be relied upon by any Applicant. By delivery of an Application, Applicant is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFA-SOA including, any and all addenda.
