REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to supply, deliver and install sensory stations (the “Goods”) and any spare parts and performance of the Services in accordance with this Agreement. The Contractor to create sensory stations within the City’s exterior preschool play spaces to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for children with exceptional needs. These stations will enable the City’s support team to encourage play among all the children in the program and create more opportunity for group play and 1 on 1 sensory experiences.

The Contractor should perform the following Services:

  • Supply and installation of the Goods at stated locations.
  • Contract should come with expertise on their products and how to use them, as well as be able to be creative with each separate space to provide the City with suitable ideas on how best to utilize it.
  • The City expects the Contractor to provide knowledge to the City on how to safely use the products installed.
  • See section 5 Locations and Site Descriptions for further information.
  • Services should be done at times that are not disruptive to the current programs and children that use the locations.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
