72 Avenue Connection with Fraser Highway

INVITATION TO TENDERERS

The Owner invites tenders for:

The work includes extending 72 Avenue to connect to Fraser Highway, including related relocation of watermain, storm sewer, and a new traffic signal, as well as intersection improvements at 72 Avenue and 184 Street.

Tenders are invited for works under Contract 1723-015-11 involving installation of approximately:

• 860m of various concrete curb;
• 5,100 tonne of granular materials;
• 2,100 tonne of superpave asphalt;
• 70m of watermain;
• 280m of drainage pipe;
• Traffic signals and streetlighting works

No registration, tracking or other recording of tender document holders will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, or further information will be published through the BC Bid website. The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition and the City’s Supplementary MMCD (April, 2020)

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with “Tenders for 1723-015”and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8. Note the City has resumed opening tenders publicly at Surrey City Hall. Tenders are welcome to join the tender openings.
