2024 Road Improvements

INVITATION TO TENDERERS

The Owner invites tenders for:

Installation of curbs and sidewalks under Contract No. 1724-015-11 involving construction of approximately 300m of sidewalk, Allan Block walls, and relocation of an existing noise attenuation wall along 84 Avenue at 140 Street; as well as construction of approximately 200m of curb and gutter, sidewalk, streetlighting, and drainage improvements along 14 Avenue between 161B Street and 162A Street

This tender is being issued electronically through the BC Bid website (www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca) where any interested party may download the tender documents directly from the BC Bid website.  No registration, tracking or other recording of tender document holders will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, or further information will be published through the BC Bid website.  It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the BC Bid website regularly to check for updates.

The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition and the City’s Supplementary MMCD (April, 2020)

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with “Tenders for 1724-015-11” and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8.  Note the City has resumed opening tenders publicly at Surrey City Hall. Tenders are welcome to join the tender openings.
