Mixed employment lands
At 317.2 square kilometres, Surrey is the largest city in Metro Vancouver and has approximately 46% of Metro Vancouver’s total mixed employment land.

Industrial land inventory
Surrey has a total of 2,534 ha of industrial land, both vacant and developed. From this 365 ha is vacant developable land. Surrey has the largest share of the Metro Vancouver region’s developed lands (20%), and the largest share of the Metro Vancouver region’s vacant lands (29%).
