Come explore this community knitting and movement project

This project bridges generational and cultural gaps through textiles, yarn, and movement. Made in partnership with Surrey SPARK Stages and Foolish Operations.

The installation is the work of many hours of knitting, crocheting, and finger-weaving

Many artists and community members made this work while sharing tea, cookies, and stories, from all around Surrey.

The opening celebration was during Family Day on February 17 with a performance by Foolish Operations. The celebration included pom pom making workshops and Indigenous textile artist demonstrations onsite.

A huge thank you to everyone

Thanks to all who helped out, including knitting groups and families.
