Social Story: Welcome to Preschool

Are you going to preschool? Learn what to expect when you go.

It’s time to go to preschool

It can be hard to go somewhere new, but I am excited to go on this adventure.

My loved one will take me to the school and walk me to my classroom. The teacher will greet me and my loved one when I arrive.

I will hang up my jacket and backpack and listen to the teacher for more instructions.

I will make new friends at preschool by playing nicely and taking turns.

Before I eat snack, I will wash my hands.

I will munch my own lunch and let others eat theirs.

When it is time to go home, I will put on my jacket and backpack and my loved one will come and pick me up.

I will say goodbye to my teacher and friends and go home.
