Explore Fleetwood Gardens in Fleetwood Park.
Located at the corner of 80th Avenue and 160th Street, Fleetwood Gardens (15802 80th Avenue) are a must see.
Fleetwood Gardens are truly a garden mosaic. The gardens feature a large pergola which is covered with wisteria and clematis to form a green and fragrant central walkway. Nearby, a classically designed knot garden is planted with 3 different varieties of boxwood, which are pruned to create the illusion of being woven together. An award-winning perennial border contains over 100 varieties of perennials as well as an assortment of shrubs, trees and bulbs.
The centre of the gardens also feature a European-style Bosque, comprised of 50 red maples. As the trees mature, they'll create a unique garden. To the south and east, a Woodland Garden winds through an existing forest grove and features a wide variety of shade plants.
The most recent development is a classic, 7-circuit labyrinth. The labyrinth provides a wonderful opportunity to quiet the mind and relax the body. Fleetwood Gardens are a great setting for wedding and graduation photos and a tranquil place to sit and enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by flowers.
