Billing schedule
All late payments are subject to a 5% late penalty if not paid by April 2 and a further 5% if not paid by July 2. If the due date falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, pay the next business day without penalty. Pay on time to avoid penalties.
If a partial payment is made before the due date, only the amount outstanding after the due date will be subject to a penalty.
The amount is based on an annual flat-rate and property dwelling type for the calendar year, January 1 to December 31.

---|---|---|---|
Annual utilities bill | April 2 | End of Feb. | Jan. 1 - Dec. 31 |

How much you pay each year
You are charged a yearly flat rate for your utility use depending on your property type. Flat rate increases are based on the cost to purchase water from Metro Vancouver Regional District. The increases are to pay for the rising cost of treating water.
