Looking into the Surrey Art Gallery Association's gift shop where a few shoppers are seen mingling and browsing through art racks and displays. A turnstile of art cards is featured on the left side, outside the open doors.

Find out about the Surrey Art Gallery Association and how they support the Gallery.

Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA) is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting Surrey Art Gallery.

As an advocate for the Gallery, the Surrey Art Gallery Association raises funds and operates the Gift Shop and Art Rental programs. Proceeds from fundraising contribute to Gallery exhibitions, publications, programs, and projects. Surrey Art Gallery Association members also encourage public education in the visual arts and support visual artists living in the area.

Gift Shop

Located in the Surrey Arts Centre, the Gift Shop offers a selection of unique and finely crafted artworks by artists from around the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands. Choose from decorative and functional pottery, handcrafted jewellery, limited edition prints, hand blown glass, artisan soaps, paintings, photography, turned wood, fabric art, and art cards.

Art Rental and Sale

The Art Rental and Sale program gives art lovers the opportunity to enjoy artworks by local artists in their homes and offices. A wide selection of artwork by local artists is available for monthly rental or sale. Artwork is on display in the Gift Shop and along the art rental hallway. Artwork can be rented for as low as $20 per month, and up to six months can be applied towards the purchase price.

Events

SAGA hosts a number of events including an annual Heart to Home Holiday Market and monthly Thursday Artist Talks by local and regional artists. Check the Gallery’s Events page for upcoming events.
