Request for Quotations
PURPOSE
The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites contractors to provide a quotation on the form attached as Schedule C (the “Quotation”) for the supply of the goods (if any) and services described in Schedule A (the “Work”).
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The scope of Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, skilled labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of the removal and disposal of the existing ammonia condenser and the supply and installation of a new ammonia condenser at Cloverdale Curling Club located at 6150 176 Street, Surrey, British Columbia (the “Place of Work’) in strict accordance with the specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.
The Work consists of but is not necessarily limited to the following refrigeration equipment to be installed at the Cloverdale Curling Club:
- One new ammonia evaporative condenser with integral sump and jacket oil cooling coil.
- New refrigeration plant exhaust system.
- New relief header piping.
- Remove the fire line.
- Jacket oil cooling system.
INFORMATION MEETING
At the time of issuance of this RFQ, a Site Visit has been scheduled as follows:

The City prefers one (1) representative from each company. The Contractor should complete and submit an Enhanced Screening for Contractors Form and bring them on the day of the Information Meeting.
It is possible that some questions raised, and information provided during the Information Meeting may be the only source of critical information essential to prepare and submit a successful Quotation. Contractors are responsible to ensure they are fully informed and have a clear understanding of the requirements.
Note: No minutes of the information meeting will be provided
ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
