Request for Quotations

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor shall provide a landscape maintenance program ensuring all turf and horticultural areas are healthy and thriving, maintaining all hard surfaces and irrigation systems in continual good repair, and to provide an overall clean and aesthetically pleasing environment, welcoming visitors to the following public facilities:

Package A: Guildford Rec Complex

  • Site 1 Guildford Aquatic Centre
  • Site 2 Guildford Rec Centre and Library
  • Site 3 Guildford Sierra Walls

Package B: Kensington Prairie Complex

  • Site 4 Kensington Prairie

Package C: RCMP

  • Site 5 RCMP District 2

All work shall be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with good trade practice based on the BC Landscape Standard, and must be continually acceptable to the City.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The Contractor will provide an approved application (APP), compatible with IOS and Android systems for streamlined documentation of all service reports. At every Service, the APP's inspection and administrative fields must be fully filled out to record the start and end of each service, confirm service location; record inspection details and reports any issues.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The Contractor shall be responsible to take all necessary measures to comply with requirements of the Federal and Provincial Environmental Protection Agencies, City Acts and By-Laws Waste Management Act and any other applicable acts in respect to air, earth and water pollutants.

Addenda

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City's Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the "BC Bid Website") and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the "City Website") that will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
